DEBTS a five-piece modern rock band from London who refuse to stay in one lane. Built on punchy guitar hooks, a driving rhythm section and emotionally charged vocals, their sound draws from rock, punk, pop, metal and hip hop — with an unexpected flash of reggaeton influence brought in by Gibraltarian frontman Daniel May.
In the studio and on stage, DEBTS deal in honesty. Their songs confront mental health, ambition and the pressure of chasing something better, delivered with raw energy and zero pretence. It’s this collision of heavy moments, infectious melodies and real-life emotion that’s earned them packed rooms across London, shows abroad, Glastonbury Festival and support slots with the likes of Carl Barat (The Libertines), Nigel Clark (Dodgy) and Mark Morris (Bluetones).
Now entering what they call “The Great Reset,” DEBTS are turning the page and pushing forward with lessons learnt. A run of brand-new tracks is lined up for release, while earlier material is being re-mastered to reflect the band’s current sound and direction. It marks a renewed chapter for DEBTS — sharper, heavier, and more focused — as they build toward the next stage of the band’s journey.
See you at a show soon!
